Young Adults in Need of Kindred Spirits
At the stage in our lives when we have left the communities of immediate family, then college, we are faced with the task of finding a new community. We may take graduate classes, work in jobs or careers with others we like, may have maintained friendships with college peers or childhood friends; many of us, however, feel a need to connect with others who are in the same place we are. In this search, what better place to turn than our UU congregation?
Y.A.N.K.S. has been created to meet the needs of FUSM’s younger adults in their 20s and 30s whose desire for a community of kindred spirits has not been fulfilled by school, work or other groups. We have a need—let's come together to meet it.
